Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 262 leaks had fans very confused. After Chapter 261 brought the return of Satoru Gojo’s body to fight Ryomen Sukuna, readers believed they were in for a very action-packed chapter. Chapter 262 followed a one-week break that had fans’ wheels really turning trying to figure out how Yuta would do against Sukuna while the young sorcerer was in the body of the “Honored One.” However, that was not the case.
Sports Keeda reported that Jujutsu Kaisen will now be on a two-week break following Chapter 262. Unfortunately, JJK’s Mangaka, Gege Akutami, has fallen ill. This would explain a lot, including why the latest chapter was only seven pages long. Normally a chapter would be about 17-19 pages, although with an undisclosed sickness, Gege was unable to do that.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s New Schedule
Now, instead of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 263 leaks arriving on June 13th, they will be on June 27th. Despite the illness, many readers are not happy with Akutami. Delivering such a short chapter after a whole week’s break typically doesn’t go over well with your fans. However, it may be even worse due to the fact that JJK is at its climax right now.
This battle against Ryomen Sukuna is the end game for the Jujutsu Sorcerers. So many have already laid down their lives to try and destroy this ancient evil. Furthermore, the sorcerers lost their trump card in Satoru Gojo.
With Yuta in Gojo’s body and Sukuna locked into a life-or-death Domain Expansion clash, this could easily be the end of every sorcerer in Japan. Yuta is clearly not capable of being the next Satoru Gojo. However, Yuji Itadori may be the last hope for Jujutsu society.
Jujutsu Kaisen will definitely suffer during this two-week break. It is currently the top manga in the world, but that stop may be taken soon. Fans are still upset with recent events, although it is best to just sit back and wait for JJK to come back in full swing.
