LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were the league’s best duo when they played together in Cleveland. However, after a very messy ending to what could have been a sports dynasty, Kyrie Irving has found himself back in the NBA Finals. Irving and the Dallas Mavericks are taking on the Boston Celtics, as Boston holds a one-game lead in the current series. Although Dallas dropped game one, they can still turn things around.

According to Yardbarker, in a recent interview, LeBron James stated that he is extremely happy for his old friend. However, “The King” also said that he is very upset that he is no longer Irving’s running mate. After that interview, former NBA player Kendrick Perkins chimed in by calling out James for stealing Irving’s spotlight.

Kendrick Perkins Had Some Words for Lebron James

LeBron James responded to this comment by simply unfollowing Perkins on social media. However, that is not where this drama stops. Perkins then took to social media and stated that “Everybody didn’t follow Jesus, I’ll be ok.”

Fans were not happy about this as they really let the former NBA big man have it. “U had tears in ur eyes when u hit tweet,” one said. “Did this man just compare himself to Jesus,” said another. “Who do you think you are, bruh,” wrote another angry fan.

LeBron James has not responded to that post as of yet. Although James probably won’t give it the time of day. Kendrick Perkins has been getting torn apart ever since he joined the NBA. However, it has not been this bad for a long time.
